How Often and What Time Do You Want To Meet?
You can wait until you have the first meeting and ask the new participants what works best for them.
- Many groups meet each month and some bi-monthly to give all members time to read the book. See what the members want to do.
- If you have mothers with children in your group they may want to meet in the evening or afternoon. Working people may prefer evenings. Just ask the group!
- If you plan to meet in a library or other neutral location, you may need to plan your time around availability of room reservations.
- Meeting dates and times might also depend on the calendar schedule if your group is sponsored by your work place or church.
- You can set a time limit of one-two hours for your meetings or they can last as long as members want to stay and discuss the book.
- And if you have an online book club, you can "meet" whenever the participants want!
