Edgar Allen Poe Awards
The Mystery Writers of America presents the Edgar Allan Poe Awards every year for achievement in the mystery field. This year the Edgar Awards will be presented to the winners at our 65th Gala Banquet, April 28, 2011 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, New York City.

Orange Prize for Fiction
This award celebrates excellence, originality and accessibility in women's writing from throughout the world. Formerly the Orange Broadband Prize for Fiction. The Lacuna: A Novel (P.S.), by Barbara Kingsolver.
Pulitzer Prize
This prize is awarded annually by the president of Columbia University on the recommendation of the Pulitzer Board for works published in the previous year. Tinkers, by Paul Harding.
Spur Award
Given annually by the Western Writers of America, Inc. for distinguished writing about the American West.
