DU JOUR
According to Dictionary.com a definition of Du Jour is: fashionable; current. Book clubs, also known as reading groups or book groups, are fashionable and current these days! And there are all kinds being formed every day. We all have friends who belong to at least one book club, and sometimes more, according to their reading interests.
REASONS
There are many reasons people join book clubs:
  • to share what they’re reading with others
  • to find out what others are reading
  • to read books they might not choose to read on their own
  • to meet new friends
  • for a fun social activity
Book Club Du Jour is a web site where you can find all kinds of information on how to start a new book club or revitalize one you already attend. As an added bonus, you will also find booklists with great reading suggestions.
  • SUCCESS
Using my years of experience helping patrons with their reading needs at a large public library system, information on this web site should help you with all the questions you might have plus give you ideas to make your group a success. I’ll share lots of tips I’ve learned through the years as well as lots of booklists.

Bookmark this site and come back often. Tidbit Du Jour, located at the top of the page, is updated daily with interesting tidbits of all kinds. Other updates are made regularly. Please contact me with any suggestions or comments you would like to offer.

(If you plan to order from Amazon.com, you might want to consider entering their site through links on this web site. When you purchase an item, as an Amazon Associate, I'll get a small commission! Thanks!)
